A Living Legacy: A Partnership with World Vision and Strong Women Strong World
Episode 1 - Season Intro
What does it mean to live a legacy? Often we think of legacy in terms of what people might think of us when we are dead. But then we are dead. So, what does it matter? What if instead of fixating on a ‘dead legacy’ which is something we can’t control - we focused on what we can do right now? How might we live our lives NOW in a way that might make a long term impact for good in THIS world? How can our investment and influence outlast our physical bodies or mental stamina to keep contributing?
I’ve heard many influential people at the end of their lives looking back and giving advice and it’s never about making more money - it’s about giving more away. It’s never about working harder - it’s always about working smarter. It’s never about fame or celebrity - it’s most often about genuine relationships of connection and love. It’s never about the size of the house but the quality of the relationships inside of them.
What if we took a few minutes out of our busy lives to contemplate these things together? What if we found women around the world who are doing this well and asked them for their advice?
What if we took it?
What if we buckled down and asked each other the good hard questions of a life well lived and told regret to get in the back seat while we took the wheel:
Are we living lives that matter?
Are we living in such a way that our influence is contributing to a better world right now?
How can we begin to get radically intentional about a living legacy?
What kind of investments/relationships/confidence is required to do this well?
These are some of the questions that will lead us on this journey together.

Leaders who have experienced the Blessing of participating with God in the most difficult and vulnerable contexts and situations in our world.
